Jodi's Story
Baking is my life. This is likely why I will never fit into size 4 jeans.

Baking has always been one of my favorite methods of expressing myself.
`As a child who grew up in central Saskatchewan, Canada, I learned early on that traditional forms of creative artistry were not for me. I hated to color (crayons are and will always be my arch nemesis), my drawings tended to bore me, and paint was a completely foreign substance. However, I did have a natural flair in the kitchen. My mother often mused that the cooking gene skipped a generation, passing from my Grandmother to myself.

Are you pregnant or did you just swallow an entire cake?​
After the birth of my first child, I decided to take time away from a career in science and focus my energy on raising a family full time. During that time, I began to experiment with cake baking and decorating. It soon became clear that I would quickly balloon if I continued to bake only for myself, and so enlisted the help of my friends and relatives in devouring my creative concoctions.

Instead of a gift, can I just make something for you?

Word quickly spread that I was making custom cakes and cupcakes. I practiced my skills and honed my designs until they were in demand. Today, I continue to use my hobby to provide creative, unique, and artistic desserts for my friends, family, and community. I’m always available, so don’t hesitate to call, text or email me.
